Rhiannon

Orphan Coordinator

Rhiannon has always loved the bushland and its animals ever since she was a kid. She would wonder the bush and make friends with the animals. Even when she was just three years old she could be seen sitting in the backyard patting the local magpies. Her favorite animals were the misunderstood ones such as snakes and spiders. It wasn’t until she moved to the Gold Coast did she meet a flying fox and straight away she knew she wanted to help these beautiful creatures. Rhiannon has further shown her passion for wildlife with her completion of a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing and through three years of voluntary work with Currumbin Wildlife Hospital and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and is now working as a vet nurse at the hospital.
