If you have a passion for wildlife and bats, we'd love to have you in our team!

  • to learn more about what volunteering with us entails, please see https://www.batsqld.org.au/volunteer/

Please note that our main area of operation is the Greater Gold Coast region (in South-East QLD, Australia). If you are located outside this area and you want to become a rescuer or carer, please consider joining a wildlife group closer to you, as they will be able to provide better hands-on support and mentor you more closely (e.g. for Brisbane check out BCRQ - Bat Conservation and Rescue QLD Inc. and for the Sunshine Coast Bat Rescue Inc.). International and interstate bat enthusiasts are welcome to join us as Support Members. If you are a member with another wildlife or bat group, you are welcome to join us as well, but note that you are only able to hold a bat care / rescue permit with one organisation.
