Our workshops are open to anyone interested in learning about Flying Foxes and Microbats and don’t require any previous knowledge. They are mandatory for new active members of BatsQLD before getting hands-on with rescues and rehab.

We are aiming towards running a workshop every 1-2 months, rotating between RESCUE, FF.REHAB, FF.ORPHAN REARING and MICROBAT training. For microbat carers, we also recommend attending the training by Rachel Lyons, which is held once or twice a year.
